Home Sweet Rome!

Hey Hawks!

Ready to move on The Hill? Well, let me tell you a little bit about the department that helps make your campus life experience a home away from home!

In support of the University¹s mission, the Office of Residence Life is committed to the development of a respectful, healthy and safe living-learning environment, which fosters academic, social, cultural, and personal growth. Our initiatives and services are infused with the values of respect and responsibility for self, others, and the Shorter University community.

Residence Life at Shorter University is an integral part of your education and university experience. As a university founded in the liberal arts tradition, we believe that every corner of the campus can be educative. The lessons learned through relationships and interactions in the residence halls are of immeasurable value.

We offer numerous hall programming events and also monthly campus-wide mixers! We hope to provide fun, community building events to help foster relationship building within the residence halls. We ensure that each resident is well-informed of policies and campus updates by having monthly community meetings. Our office is located in FSU on the second floor and our door is always open, so feel free to come visit or let us know how we can help you.
